Learning Objective: Begin creating music in audiotools.com!
Instructions:
1. Click here to go to: audiotool.com
2. Click Login in the upper right, and log in with Google.
3. Click Create Account.
4. Click Enter Studio in the top menu.
5. Don't watch the video. Just click Enter Studio.
6. Choose New Project.
7. Click on each device in the workspace area and delete.
8. Click on DEVICES on right, then drag the drum device to the workspace area. It is called The Machiniste.
9. Close the Preset window.
10. Click on SAMPLES.
Some abbreviations:
bd = base drum, which is also called a "Kick"
sn = snare drum
cp = clap
hh = high hat
11. You must put a "Kick" in square 1 of the grid.
12. From here, you will be finding the sample you want to use and dragging over to the Machiniste.
13. Click the Play button at the top to listen to what you have created.
Note: Each square in the grid represents a 16th note. Since there are 16 of these and each one represents 1/4 of a beat, the total of the 16 is 4 beats.
